Getting Involved and Becoming a Part of the Community

New visitors to Beth Ahavah often comment on how we all seem to be friends with each other. How does this happen? We get to know each other through committee involvement, party planning, mailing parties, and other activities involved with running the synagogue. In addition to making friends, people use their talents in new places and develop skills they didn't know they had. We even have lots of fun!

Some of Congregation Beth Ahavah's Committees in which you may want to get involved include:

  • Budget and Finance Committee
  • Building Committee
  • Bylaws Committee
  • Children's Programming Committee
  • Education Committee
  • Funding Committee
  • Gift Shop Committee
  • High Holidays Task Force
  • House Committee
  • Kibbitzing: Gay-Straight Dialogue Committee
  • Media & Publicity Committee
  • Membership Committee
  • Men's Club
  • Newsletter Committee
  • Nominating Committee
  • Personnel Committee
  • Publicity Committee
  • Rabbi Liaison Committee
  • Ritual Committee
  • Social Action Committee
