Adult Education
Beth Ahavah provides a wide variety of educational opportunities, at all educational levels, to its members and to the broader community. In all our programs, whether we celebrate the holidays or life cycle events, there are opportunities to teach others and learn more about Judaism and about ourselves in a Jewish context. Past events included a High Holiday Institute consisting of classes on preparing for the High Holidays, a shofar making class, and a shofar blowing class. Beth Ahavah continues to sponsor a two-year Bar/Bat Mitzvah course, consisting of various courses, which also fulfills certain requirements for conversion, and culminates in a group Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
