B.A. Friday Night Services

Join us for a traditional Friday night Shabbat service, led by Evan Weiner, at 8:00 p.m. on February 12th. Oneg and shmoozing to follow.

If you'd like to go out to dinner before services, join us at 6:00 p.m. at Sazon Restaurant and Cafe, 941 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia (www.sazonrestaurant.com, 215-763-2500). Call Jeff Strauss to let him know you are coming, 215-880-5251, so he can add your name to the BA reservation.

"B.A. Annual Purim Shpiel"

Join us on February 27th for a Purim Merriment event: Mirth and Desserth. Cosponsored by Congregations Beth Ahavah and Rodeph Shalom, it includes a little Megillah, a light supper, and the annual BA Purim shpiel. This year's production is "Bye Bye Purim," a laugh-filled, entertaining, and just plain fun retelling of the Purim story in a clever musical theater format.

The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. and admission is $18 per person.

RSVP to Marcia Biggs at 215-627-6747 x12 or mbiggs@rodephshalom.org.

What fashion surprises does our infamous Queen Esther have in store for us this year?
